Hello. At the request of the president of the Illinois Association of Blind
Students, I am posting the following information. If your student division
wishes to publicize a fundraiser, please email me an announcement at
tai.tomasi at comcast.net and I will disseminate the information to appropriate
lists.

The Illinois Association of Blind Students will hold the following
fundraisers during the NFB National convention. 

IABS Shot Glasses

These collectibles are square-shaped and feature a design by IABS member and
Artist Jennifer Justice.  The design includes the shape of the State of
Illinois,
with the Braille letters "IL" in the top right and the letters "IABS" in the
center of the state.  They will be available at the Illinois table at the
Exhibit Hall as well as from any IABS Board Member.  They cost $3 each or 2
for $5.  The glasses double as excellent stylus holders.  

IABS 50/50 Raffle

The Illinois Association of Blind Students will hold a 50/50 raffle in
Atlanta.  The holder of the selected ticket will win half the total money
earned
through the raffle.  Tickets cost $1 each, 6 for $5, or 12 for $10.  They
will be available at the Illinois Table at the Exhibit Hall as well as from
any
IABS Board Member.  The drawing will take place on Thursday, July 5th
between noon and 2PM in Rooms M103 and M104 Marquis Level.
