Dear Members,

The Illinois Association of Blind Students Board of Directors has recently
changed. Christella Garcia has stepped down due to commitments with the
Para-Olympics from the position of Board member. The Board has voted to appoint
Tiffany Jolliff as Chris's successor.

The Board extends its gratitude and appreciation to Christella for her hard
work and dedication to the organization. We're pleased that Chris will
remain actively involved in IABS, the Illinois Affiliate, and the National
Federation of the Blind. We wish her luck and success in her endeavors.

We're thrilled to welcome Tiffany to the Board. Tiffany has been active in
IABS since its reformation and brings dedication and enthusiasm to her
position. Welcome, Tiffany.

The IABS Board is very busy planning 2007 events. We will count on
Christella, Tiffany, and all of our members to ensure that IABS continues changing
what it means to be blind.

Yours,
Ronza Othman
Illinois Association of Blind Students President
