Subject: Inquiry

I was a former student at the Visually Handicap Institute located in
Chicago. I attended this rehab institute about 27 years ago. I moved to
Henderson, Nevada in 2000 and am still living here.
My experience at I.V.H.I. was indeed a valuable learning experience in
dealing with my visual impairment. If I learned one thing it was how to go
on with my life and succeed as independently as possible. The institute
provided support and encouragement which led to confidence resulting in my
achieving a B.A. degree while being legally blind in both eyes. I am still
proud today to have been a student with such a dedicated and loyal staff of
personnel. They helped turn a dim future for me into one of hope and
success.

While at the institute I became involved in a blind sport called "goal
ball." I would like to write an essay on this topic, along with other
experiences while at the institute, but I can't remember the important parts
of the game. For instance, how long and how wide was the court, how large
was the ball, what was its approximate weight, and how many holes were in
the ball, and how many "jungle bells" were inside? I became a member of the
USABA Association and competed in events that led to one of the most
proudest moments of my life.

Could you provide me with the necessary information I so need regarding the
game of goal ball listed above? I would love to include this into my essay.
Thank you.

I look forward to hearing from you and I remain,

Sincerely yours,

Anthon Sabatello
