[Iabs-talk] Eliminated PACE Routes

Hello All,

As requested at yesterday's Chicago Chapter meeting, I am providing a list 
of the 23 fixed-routes that PACE will eliminate on or about September 29 
EVEN IF STATE FUNDING COMES THROUGH. I have cut and pasted the information 
that can be found on the www.pacebus.com webshite. By the way, it does not 
look like that funding is going to come through, so calls are still needed 
to your elected officials to express disappointment on their actions in 
Springfield and to urge them to do what they can to remedy the situation.

      Service Reduction Plans
      Poorly Performing Routes Scheduled for Elimination
      In accordance with an ordinance passed by the Pace Board on August 
1st, the following routes will be discontinued on or about September 29, 
2007.

      The dates on which these services will end may vary; watch for more 
information on this website or on the buses.
