Dear Federationists:

Thought I'd send a little reminder and I hope you can pass it on to any interested persons.

On April 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., James Gashel, head of the NFB’s project to design the handheld Kurzweil–National Federation of the Blind Reader, will be in Chicago to demonstrate the “camera that talks” during the Hope For Vision Symposium 2007. Come on down to see what the new Kurzweil–National Federation of the Blind Reader can do. Try it out yourself. The symposium is $10 per person at the door. This event will be held at the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, 1850 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago, Illinois 60608. Questions about the event may be directed to Marla Chorney, Information and Resource Chairperson, in Chicago at (847) 673-0017 or (847) 452-8616.

Hope for Vision is a 501c3 non-profit organization raising money to cure blindness. To learn more about the event, go to their Web site at: http://www.hopeforvision.org/events/20 or see below for additional event information.
