Hello Sara,
Below is the email I sent in response to your note:
Hello,
I am John David Townsend, a clinical social worker in Florida. I have been employed as a social worker since 1980 when I completed my MSW degree. In New York City I worked with people with chronic psychiatric disorders and with people who were without housing and had mental health and/or substance use disorders. In Florida I have worked with seniors and, for 20 years, in a hospital based psychiatric clinic for children. At present I am in private practice working as a contractor in a mental health agency.
I am old and a younger presenter might be a better fit for your program, but I would be able to participate should you see fit.

Hi Sarah,
I hope you are well.
We are gearing up for our April “Where the Blind Work” webinar and this quarter’s theme is all about professionals who work in the Human Services field. The webinar will be held Thursday, April 24 from 8:00-9:00 p.m., eastern via Zoom. We are in search of three panelists who have experience working as counselors, therapists, social workers, case workers, etc. who would love to share how they do their job as a blind professional. Can you please share any recommendations for speakers or share this among the professionals in the Human Services division? If anyone has questions, feel free to direct them my way. My contact info can be found in the signature block below. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kindest regards,
Nikki
