Hello All,

Thanks for asking your questions regarding file explorer and arranging files in a list view format.
The key command Control+Shift+6 does the same or similar thing that Jen and others described already, by putting the files / folders in a linear listview where one might press up and down arrows to view all items in a straight shot. The Control+Shift+6 works regardless of what view is preselected in that folder. Additionally, the command also arranges the items not only in a list format, but when you are in a given file, you can press left / right arrows to view details such as date modified, size, filetype, ETC, like in a table. This might come in handy if you become more proficient with the computer and are working with lots of files.

I hope this helps a bit.
Have an awesome Tuesday!
