Hi. I changed the subject to a more appropriate one in case someone
searches the archives. Based on your description, your view is set to
tile view. To change it the way you are requesting, do the following.

1. Press Windows+E to open the file explorer.

2. Without using the arrow keys, press Shift+F10 to open the context menu.

3. Press Down arrow until you reach View Sub Menu.

4. Press Enter to open this menu.

5. Press Down arrow until you reach Details.

6. Press Enter to activate this item.

Now, as you explore the folders, they should be set to details instead
of tile. A couple of things to note.

1. Not all folders will accept this setting globally. If you find that
some folders are the way you want and some are not, simply open the
folder in question and repeat the above steps.

2. If you open a folder where you want to do this and you explore it
with arrows, you will need to unselect your current item with
Control+Space, then go through the above steps. If you don't unselect
your current item, the View menu will not show up in your context menu.

I hope this helps.
