Thanks for the advice. I usually use Firefox and curiously enough I cleared
cookies there but it had no effect. So I tried clearing cookies in Internet
Explorer and Amazon did go back to normal.

The only way I could do it was by clearing all my cookies. Then, Amazon did
not remember that I went to their so-called accessible site. Yes, that site
is definitely missing some features.

Some months ago Amazon changed their site to display the mobile version if
it detects that you are using a screen reader. This is certainly easier in
many cases but some features are missing. On their accessibility page it
mentions that you can go back to the normal view by clicking the "Amazon.com
full site". But I can find no such link. Yesterday I called their
accessibility help line but the person put me on hold where I waited for 20
minutes before giving up. Does anyone know how to get back to the normal
web site on Amazon?

Thanks,

Ted
