[gui-talk] audio

Hi Ben,

The keystroke to bring up the Dictionary Manager is Insert, D. When you
press Insert, Space, D, press Insert and Space at the same time, then press
D. You will know you are in the right mode when you hear a click after you
press Insert and Space.

To turn audio ducking off...

1. Make sure you are in the JAWS window (JAWS says "title is JAWS" when you
press Insert and T.)
2. Press H to go to the "Help" menu.
3. Press Z to go to the JAWS Startup Wizard.
4. Press Alt, L to uncheck the "lower the volume of other programs when JAWS
is speaking" check box.
5. Keep pressing the "Next" button until you hit the "Finish" button.

I hope this helps.

Jen

I am also using Windows 10 with JAWS 18, and Insert, Space, D brings up a
dictionary. I would like a quick button to turn off ducking because I find
YouTube or other sites with audio are very quiet now, even when JAWS is not
actively speaking, and I'm pretty sure this happened after "upgrading" to
Jaws 18.
