[gui-talk] [win10] Error When Running the Windows 7 Backup on Windows 10

I honestly have had very bad luck running the preinstalled backup 
program, which I used to run on Windows 7 with no problems when I used 
to use Microsoft Security Essentials. This may or may not be a 
coincidence but I began noticing that the backup program never completed 
right around the time when I began using Kaspersky Antivirus, but I digress.

Since upgrading to Windows 10, I ran the older Win7 backup program once 
in August and it completed successfully. However, after trying to run it 
a few days ago I consistently get the following error message after only 
completing at around 7 percent.


A shadow copy could not be created. Please check "VSS" and "SPP"
application event logs for more information.
Details: The shadow copy provider had an unexpected error while trying
to process the specified operation.

My Volume Shadown Service is enabled and I even restarted it before 
trying to perform the backup again. I'll start hunting for the relevant 
event logs but I'm just wondering if anybody has possible suggestions 
which could remedy this. In addition, is this worth pursuing, 
considering that the File History backups work successfully. I'd like to 
know your thoughts.
