David,

This is reaching, but since these devices tend to use the same IP addresses,
it might be worth clearing your cache.  That would probably have not
affected all browsers, though.  For the heck of it, did you try both http
and https?  

Is there more than one ethernet port?  You said "gateway" and not "router"
but I don't know if I should assume only one ethernet port since you can
also access it wirelessly.

I would be curious to hear what the solution turns out to be.

Here's my issue. Today, I activated my Comcast service using an Arris
TG1682G gateway connected via my computer via Ethernet cable. Everything is
working well except that I am unable to connect to my gateway's admin page
at 10.0.0.1 using both Firefox and IE, Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit. I
am, however, able too wirelessly connect to it via my iPhone. I temporarily
disabled my firewall (Windows Firewall) but that made no difference. I see
that others on Comcast forums have had this issue but, so far, can't find a
solution that works. Does anybody have any ideas?
