A picture may be worth a thousand words but it takes up three times the
memory!

Subject: [gui-talk] Getting Rid of the Get Windows 10 Popup Window

Greetings:

If you are being constantly plagued with the "Get Windows 10" window, and if
you want to stay on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1, here is a link to a zip file
containing two registry files that can be used.

https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/w1bu2r

The zip file contains two ".reg" files:

*	Disable_Get_Windows_10.reg and
*	Enable_Get_Windows_10.reg

You will probably be interested in the first file.

I got these files because I couldn't figure out how to do the actual edit of
my Windows Registry to carry out the instructions outlined in the Microsoft
website.

What you do is to extract the .reg files to a place on the consumer's
machine and click on the Disable_Get_Windows_10.reg file to get rid of the
Get Windows 10 popup. That's all there is to it. Good luck. This seems to
have worked for me.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong
