I just posted the release of Window-Eyes 9.1 to the list in a separate email. Part of the 9.1 upgrade is the support of Chrome.

I personally don't feel qualified to give an opinion but I talked to Chris in our tech support department. He uses Chrome a lot and told me that not only is it his default web browser but he thinks WE 9.1 with Chrome is faster than FireFox. He also told me he likes the way Chrome provides some special sound events when various things happen.

If anyone on this list is interested in Chrome, I recommend that you try Window-Eyes 9.1 with it and see for yourself.

With JAWS, Internet Explorer seems to work best, followed by Firefox. With other screen reading solutions, Firefox may work better. Chrome has some bugs that make it difficult for screen readers to support it properly, although those bugs are being squashed and won't exist soon.
