[gui-talk] flat screen

It's a stand alone computer. Could I temporarily put some tape at the crack 
of the screen to avoid a biger crack until I can afford to buy a new 
computer?

If the computer is a laptop, the screen can be replaced, but probably would
cost almost as much as a new computer. If it is a stand alone monitor it can
not be repaired.
