It is surprising that it is trying to uninstall Jaws 17.  Perhaps the FTP
utility listed in that link can help you remove any older versions of Jaws
you might have.  Good luck.

You do have to uninstall Jaws 15 since it is incompatible.  You have to have
at least Jaws 16.

His is not true; they are incorrect.  I have been using Windows 10 since
September, and I started with Jaws 16.  There are some inaccessible
components.  For example, the Edge browser is not accessible with Jaws, and
the calculator does not seem to be accessible.  I heard it said that the
Edge browser is accessible with NVDA, but I have not yet tried it.  Good

I just got off of the phone with the Microsoft Help desk regarding
accessability. I spooke with Url who informed me that JAWS still isn't
compatible with Windows 10. When I tried to download Windows 10 last night,
it prompted me to uninstall both Freedom Scientific & open book. This is why
I called Microsoft regarding this issue. If anyone out there knows of a work
around, please share it. 

Also, I was told that the free upgrade for windows 10 will be available
until July 2017. I hope this has helped some of you.
