[gui-talk] computer displaying the wrong time

The date and year are fine. It only drops back an hour. The thing is, when I
set it to the correct time, it shows messages, e-mails, tweets, etc. as
though they came in an hour before. Any suggestions? Right now it is showing
central time. I have it, of course, set to Eastern Daylight saving time on
the time zone settings. Very confused!

Is the date and year correct? When my Bios battery went bad my laptop would
display the wrong time and date. So if the date is correct I think that
would rule out the bios battery as the problem.
