I've never heard positive things about Quickbooks accessibility.  An
alternative would be Accomplish Cash Manager.  Various links related to it

I have a nurse friend who has a blind daughter who's thinking of working at
the nurse's husband's company and it uses QuickBooks. How useable is it with
JAWS? With NVDA? Are their JAWS scripts for it? If not, what alternatives
are there?
