Hi list members, ken here this morning in reply to my NVDA focusing issue on blip I got a reply that said Chrome works with NVDA there was a link to it in one of the messages in the thread. I downloaded it and installed it and it not only works with NVDA but also tested it with jaws and with System access to go. Wanted to see how blip behaved. it doesn’t read it all it can’t for example when you search for a song read the songs, the preview, or the next and previous choices as links it does see them, but not as links. also tested it on pandora and the only thing you can’t do is see how to switch stations. you can actually see what is playing however. last FM read without a hitch. so did the mobile facebook site. you can’t for some reason read where to post a status update but you can now share from facebook directly without going to youtube to view a video first. the command is just like firefox ctrl plus L to bring up the address/search bar. ctrl plus O opens a file just like in firefox. still have to work a bit on it but it does clearly work well on all three. the download that was in that NVDA posting was from filefipo.com if I spelled that right. so it look like chrome will be my second option and IE now comes in third.
