I think you can adjust text size in IE with ctrl-plus and ctrl-minus on the
numeric pad. I don't know how hyou make these settings stick. If you are
using an LCD display, you may also want to check (in Windows itself) whether
you have screen resolution set to whatever is optimum for that display.
Since these devices have fixed pixels, some interpolation or extrapolation
must be used in order to use a non-default resolution.

In my experience, setting stuff up for sighted persons bollixes up stuff for
us. So my advice would be to tell your sighted friends to use their own
computers if they want a different appearance from what they see on yours.

Subject: [gui-talk] how do I fix the text size in internet explorer
Good morning all:
I am totally blind and use jaws on my computer. However, I have at time
other sighted users who need to use my computer. Someone the other day was
realizing that the text color was difficult to see as well as the text was
too close together on the screen.
How can II ;
1. change the text so that it isn’t too close together?
2. How can I get a better color so that sighted people an look up thingsfor
selves?
Thanks.
