Important Announcement!
Monday March 19, 2012

Dear Allen,
HIMS International has made the following announcement regarding Braille
Sense users using their notetakers as Braille displays for iPhones, iPods
and iPads:
NOTICE to All Braille Sense and iPhone users

Beware of upgrading to IOS 5.1. Braille Sense users using their notetakers
as Braille displays for iPhones, iPods and iPads should be aware that
Terminal Mode support does not work properly in IOS 5.1.
While the Braille Sense pairs and connects to the i-device, and information
is displayed on the Braille display, the Braille Sense keyboard cannot be
used for input or navigation. HIMS has contacted Apple and has been told
they have confirmed the problem, and it will be fixed in a "future firmware
upgrade". No date is specified as to when the fix will be available.

TCS will notify you when an upgrade is available that will correct these
issues. Follow us on Facebook for more adaptive technology support or
