[gui-talk] creating pdf documents

Hello all,

Does anyone know of an easy, inexpensive way to produce pdf documents?  I don't really want to buy the expensive programs from Adobe.

I own a business and want to convert Word documents in to pdf for emailing.

I would also like to scan papers and produce pdf files from them., if possible.
