[gui-talk] IE8 problem

No problem like that with nvda.  It may help with jaws to first turn on 
screen narrator then unload jaws and start up ie8 with screen narrator and 
see what happens.  It could be ie8 is going out to msn.  If that is the 
case or if ie8 is going out to another web page, maybe try going into 
tools and internet options and select use blank page and then hit ok and 
exit out of ie8.  Then start jaws 13 up and turn off screen narrator.  
Then see if you can start ie8 up with jaws and at least get to the blank 
page.  If any of this breaks or anything breaks afterwards like going from 
blank page to another web page you'll have a little more material for 
support at freedomscientific.com and considering what you or your sponsor
