[gui-talk] can't reply to a yahoo group message

Hi group Ken here yesterday the stupid AOL kept bugging me to install AOL desktop.  so today while replying to or trying to reply to a topic on the blind facebook message I got redirected to AOL so uninstalled the whole shabang. now when I hit reply to group even though I’m in windows live mail I get an error message saying I need to associate a program to perform that action.  How do I create the file association that makes windows live my default email program.  Also since any email is auto adding to my address book how do I gain access to that book without AOL.
