Yeah can appreciate that pop up blocker issue and things Am still getting my
spam from that mostafa nut. well when I load pandora using IE it isn't
loading completely but on Firefox works great. have't test in on Firefox 7
yet. but seven supports HTML 5 and I have given someone that idea with
using Map quest on Google. it looks like sites are getting off that
adiction to flash and going to HTML 5. let's hope it lives up to the
potential and makes more of the web accessible to us Huh? Yeah mike after
that Iphone article and seeing that a totally blind user can use the virtual
keyboard think I'll ask Santa for an Ipad or Iphone this year Huh?

Hi list members have asked this to support from blip and getting no reply.
So maybe someone can help. when trying to listen to songs and decide
whether or not to post all the songs that are just audio play correctly but
on internet explorer if a song is a video the clip will loop the first 10
seconds over and over and over. only way to stop it is the hit next. I
only have had this happen yesterday and today. I?ve installed the latest
flash player flash player 11 but it doesn?t clear it up. I have to use
system access to go on blip.fm on internet explorer because jaws can?t read
the songs and the places to preview or to blip as links it only sees it as
texst. on firefox it?s even worse something freezes the browser completely
and it won?t even shut it down like it can?t load the page. System access
to go can?t see it either and when NVDA is running on Firefox on the site it
doesn?t seem to know what next means even in a list view unless I?m on my
own playlist. in Fire
fox the site plays normally. I tested it going to something I had wanted to
preview directly on youtube and it played perfectly. I decided I didn?t
want the track in question. Even songs previously blipped don?t play right
if they are videos. it?s almost as if what ever is playing is caught stuck
in the flash player. does anyone know why this is happening and if this is
affecting blip will it affect last fm too? Also a related question to mike
about pandora. the new site is using HTML 5 and I for the first time saw
actually what is platying using firefox. haven?t tried it with firefox 7
yet but do we now have the access to pandora we diodn?t have without the
Hope client? BTW hope is no go, don?t have a credit card.

Hi, Ken.

Don't really know about Pandora. The web site looks much more accessible
(I'm using Internet Explorer 9) but every time I hit the "sign in" link
which is supposed to take me elsewhere on the main page and expand it (at
least that's what I imagine), I get an error saying IE isn't obeying some
Pandora directive. Haven't figured out why yet.

However, Hope only costs $10 so if you can't see your way clear to purchase
with a credit card (and how you can get along without one these days is
beyond my ken), perhaps you can get someone else to purchase Hope for you.

Mike

Ken:

I did a bit more sleuthing on using the new Pandora site with Internet
explorer and they suggest a number of changes to rectify the problem
including installation of the Chrome plug-in and changing some Internet
privacy zone settings and allowing pop-ups, none of which I am willing to
do. Nor am I willing to allow Pandora as a site not checked by antivirus
software. So guess I'll continue to use Hope as this allows me not to change
settings.

When Pandora fixes things so default settings of I E will allow it to play,
I'll try again. BTW, I have a Pandora1 subscription so one would think the
site would at least allow me to log in before deciding whether or not to
harass me or engage in measures such as zapping cookies etc. IMO one cannot
be too careful.

Mike
