[gui-talk] how do I clean a laptop display?

Hello fellow laptop users,
 
this isn't a question related to any sort of user interface but I figured a
great percent of you are using laptops, so I come here with this question.
 
Have you guys cleaned your laptop LCD displays? if so when and how is it
done? does it involve a regular procedure like cleaning with a cloth, or
what kind of material should I use? 
a family member has recently told me that I need to clean it because "it
looks dirty", and I'd like to learn to do it since I hang out with many
sighted people in my college, and I use it almost every day there.
