Good evening everyone,

We're in the midst of changing remote backup and file storage providers.
A while ago I worked with a technician to install the correct software on
all three of our computers in order to use this new service . My computer
has an issue when it comes to removing old and unwanted applications via the
"Add/Remove Programs" option in the Windows XP Home Edition Control Panel.
The technician tried removing an incorrect installation of the new cloud
storage application but Windows Control Panel would not display the
"Add/Remove" Program list. It's the list of installed applications that is
generated after that option is selected within the Windows XP Control Panel.
Who wants to wait around for several hours for this list to be built so
programs can be removed?

A friend of mine told me that there are stand-alone applications that
can be used to removed old and unwanted software from one's computer without
having to use the Windows Control Panel or waiting for the installed
programs list to be created. I'd be curious to know if any of you have used
such applications and how accessible they are with JAWS. Whenever possible
if the application has its own uninstaller I use it instead of mucking
around with Windows Control Panel. Unfortunately the software we were trying
to removed does not have this feature. Given the way "Add/Remove Programs"
behaves on this computer another solution for removing applications is
needed. Your suggestions and feedback will be much appreciated. All the
best.

"Will you come and awake our lost land from its slumber
And her fetters we'll break, links that long are encumbered.
And the air will resound with hosannas to greet you
On the shore will be found gallant Irishmen to greet you."
