Are you sure you completely unloaded  Google Chrome?  It may still be 
running in the backround as a Process.  Launch Windows Task Manager and tab 
to the Processes page to see whether Google Chrome is still running as a 
process.  If it is, tab to the End Task button and kill it.  Then try to 
uninstall it again.
