The following message was sent to the GW Micro list in response to a
question from a person on the list. Regarding Window-Eyes 8 no release
date has been set. Also Internet Explorer 9 which is now in public beta
won't work with XP. -Steve.

Works fine is a bit misleading, and I don't want anyone to get the
wrong impression. With IE9, you will have no OSM. That means, you will
not be able to review the window with the mouse if you need to. Also,
reviewing text in edit boxes will not work. We will get that fixed, but
it will require Window-Eyes 8. So, if you were looking for an official
response, here's one: if you want to play with the beta now, go right
ahead. We will not, however, provide support for IE9 until WE8.
