[gui-talk] is windows defender still supported?

Hi list members, ken here.  I'm thinking of adding one more  antispyware 
goody to this machine and may or may not delete Spybot search and  destroy.  I 
can't seem to figure out what is happening when I bring up the  updater.  I 
see a list of 26 choices but if your supposed to hit enter on  them nothing 
happens.  so if I can't update spybot or if I just want to add  another 
spyware program in addition to it, is Windows defender still being  supported?  
is it still updating?  I had heard it was being  discontinued but Kim 
Komando still has it on her security center page.   Also, she's got Addaware on 
there too.  I had heard later versions of that  were not accessible with a 
screen reader.  should I also look in to that  one?  I have a 
slow/disappearing harddrive space issue, while it's not  critical yet, want to nail it 
before little headaches become big ones.   Thanks, ken.
