[gui-talk] NLS Player

All you hav e to do is go to the NlS web site, look for a contact email
and/or toll-free hnumber and get in touch with them, and they'll explain
everything. You don't have to restrict yourself to just one book per thumb
drive or recordable cartrige (they're available now from Independent Living
Aids). You may have to either tkae your player into the nearest
participating library or let the person you tolk to on the phone tell you
how to find, download and install the firmware upgrade that makes all this
possible. But the NLS players, basic or advanced, aren't that pprimitive
anymore.

Hope this helps,
Joel

Are there other places to download books other than the NLS web site that
will work on the NLS player?

That's what I have understood as well, but I saw on another list where it is
possible to have more than one book on the thumb drive. Can't remember where
I got that info, but when I use a thumb drive on my NLS player, I only
download one book.
