Hi,

Good news. I uninstalled the wireless adaptor and reinstalled it. It works
just fine now. There must have been something wrong in the way I did it.

Thanks for the suggestions

Keith

What part of the country are you in? See, I have an alltell wireless
internet card and you can get unlimited usage for only 60$ per month. That's
why I asked. So I would suggest trying to go with the internet card and see
wear that takes you. Thanks Nick Bennett Ps, Let me know if you are
interested or need help finding one. Thanks again. Original e-mail copied

Hi,

I reinstalled Windows on my kid's computer and it is not connecting to my
internet connection. It is using a USB Lynsys network card. We went
through the new hardware setup, installed the driver, and put in the
security key.

The system reports that the connection to the access point is made, but the
internet can not be found. I tried to ping a few web pages and it did not
work. When loading Internet Explorer, I get page can not be found.

The signal strength is good just no internet!

Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Keith
