[gui-talk] Google

This is mystifying, because I just did a google search on www.google.com and
pressed enter, and have the usual results marked by headings. On the main
Google search page, make sure there is a link for iGoogle, which means you
are on the classic search page. If there's a link for Classic Search then
activate it for a simpler interface.

Subject: [gui-talk] Google

I tried to do a Google search today, and discovered that the interface
has completely changed. When I tried www.google.com/ie I was presented
with a pitch to download the Google tool bar and their special version
of IE 8. When I just went to www.google.com, I was able to enter my
search terms, but when I clicked the Go button, I was taken to a page
that talked about advertising, and I could not figure out how to find my
search results. I know that a while back another URL was given, but I
didn't need that info at the time, so I didn't save it. Can someone
post that URL again?

Andy
