[gui-talk] Need help

Ok, I think you'll all think I'm dumb for this, but? I was trying to shrink the foot print of windows xp home, on my acer aspire one netbook 8GB version. Well, it worked, for a while, the system still works and jaws is still talking, but the whole thing has just gotten a little goofy. 

I don't have an external CD Rom drive and I don't want to have to buy one if I don't have to, I've got the rescue disks for the computer, but I don't know how to repair windows from a sd card or thumb drive, 

can anyone help?

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
