        Hi Folks,
I purchased a DVD recorder VCR combo with the plan to dub all my vhs tapes
onto dvd's.
I am still trying to figure out how to set up the timing on the dvd.
I tried with a movie and I set it for 1 hr 30 minutes, but that didn't
finish the movie.
I also tried to play that recorded DVD in my computer and it doesn't work in
there.
I'd like to also take my movies I've recorded off the TV onto VHS and record
them onto DVD.
How do you know how long to set the time. It gives different recording modes
with different times.
Also, how do you know when you can use single layer DVD-r's and you need
dule layer DVD-r's.
So if a VHS is 2 hours long, then do you set the recording mode for 2 hours
long?
So if the movies are like 2 hr 30 minutes, and the next setting after 2
hours is 4 hours then do you set it to that setting.
I am totally blind, any help from anyone who has a DVD Recorder VCR combo
unit and is totally blind on usablity would be great.
Thanks
Carrie
