Probably it is because your power supply is getting disconnected. It becomes 
active when you resume the power supply. Hope that helps.

I M using a Del Laptop running Windows XP and Jaws 10. Occasionally, I get a 
message that says,
"Your internal network card is currently active. Click here to change 
preference."
