The files just don't seem to be there. I have probably inadvertently
changed something but I don't know what.

I have a new HP computer, and by default it puts downloads on the Desktop.
If you are used to XP, Windows 7 is a bit different. You seem to be one
level more away from stuff -- and it takes some getting used too.
