Hi. This has been talked about several times on list. I recently found a great resource for those interested in foobar. I do not reccomend this program to beginners or to people who do not like to explore and customize there own programs. Another words, if you like something to work right out-of-the-box with scripts and everything. This program is not for you.
I might add that jfw works better than Windoweyes at this point. Hopefully someone will take a few seconds and make a couple of tweaks for a WE script.
Anyway, if you are tired of winamps bells and whistles. Would like a program where you can manage several playlists at a time, break away from the norm... You get my point. Check out this media player for yourself.
here is a neat website to learn about foobar. Keep in mind this site was not created for blind people but everything is really straight forward. I have been a foobar user for over a year and a half and I love it.
For example, I have my tv shows in one playlist, my regular listening music in another, some live streams in another, and a book I'm currently listening too as well. Everytime i open foobar their are the playlists like I left them.
Anyway sorry for the long post. Just found this site and thought it might be useful.
