[gui-talk] Question about terms and definitions.

Hi Ken,
I don't have the answers you're looking for, but may I ask something? First
of all, why are you trying to execute some sort of keyboard commands at all
while you're waiting for a Web page to load? If you didn't mean that, this
is what it sounded like anyway. While a page is loading, etc. Sorry if I'm
misunderstanding you.

Second, I'm a longtime Jaws user, but I'm not familiar with the Insert Tab
command you're wondering about. What's the purpose of this command? What do
you expect it to tell you when you press those keys? I'm not familiar with
this at all.

Thanks very much.

Hi List members Ken with a question about some terms and there meaning.
When a page is loading and you hit insert plus Tab in Jaws several times,
the screen reader when repeating a link says something different each time.
After saying the link it will first say On mouse over, and the next times
you repeat that command it will say Title, Longest, Screen text, or alt
atribute. What do those terms mean and why does the screen reader say
those
different things each time you repeat that command? It sounds like it some
kind of way to monitor progress. Thanks, Ken.
