Config manager is application specific. If you use the insert S to toggle
through the verbosity options you can do that where ever you are.  Not
uncommon for someone to inadvertently hit the insert s and the first toggle
setting after Highlighted" is "all", sounds like what has happened for you.

Okay, I'll try that. Do I have to be in one application or another for it to

work? By the way, I went into co figuration manager and checked under text 
processing on the settings menu, and speak highlighted is what's already 
checked, and it hasn't been changed. but that's all I could think of to look

at, same as you're saying. So let me try again.
