I recall reading a definite no to that question, but I can't cite you any
sources.  The negative answer isn't too surprising given security concerns.

Anybody know if NLS will allow a pC-based DTB reader to be made
available?
It would really be nice to be able to use a laptop to read materials.
I like the Victor Reader, but having the items on the PC would be
another easy outlet.
