Joel, this phone is more like a palm top computer. You can surf, play
games, keep track of appointments, maintain a sizable music library, read
net books, handle your mail, send text messages, and actually talk to people
like you're on the telephone, grin. It's about one step below a lap top.

I see. It's something to do with phones much more complicated than my simple
LG-VX 4650, which I just use for occasional phone conversations. I have no
background in what you're describing. Sorry.

I think he meant that you can turn the phone sideways and have it
still work just as well. I can do that with my Nokia N82. I stopped
doing it though since whenever I turned it sideways, the arrows
reverted to whatever direction I was holding the phone, verses the
direction it used to be. It got too confusing for me. There's a
setting somewhere in the preferences of the N82 and I'm guessing for
other similar phones where you can turn this feature off.
