SnowLeopard will be released in September according to all the
publications. You will be able to upgrade your MacBook to SnowLeopard
at a cost of $29.
The IPhone uses a modified version of Mac OS X.
I have seen reviews of some OCR packages for the IPhone if you join
the IPhone users group
 on Google that I previously sent you will be able to search for more info.
