[gui-talk] A book sense question:

Hello Albert,

BookSense has some pretty significant bugs, but GW and Hims are working on
them and I expect firmware to start addressing them in short order. Support
for protected WMA, such as that found in Netlibrary and Overdrive books, is
planned for the next major firmware release. No date was given, but "soon"
was mentioned in the presentation a couple of weeks ago.

Rick, thanks,. I have a Stream and I'm thinking about selling it and
getting a book sense but if they didn't support overdrive and or net library
I'd stay with what I have.

Albert,

The BookSense already handles NLS. What is supposed to be coming up in
their next firmware upgrade is support for RFBD and WMA with DRM as used
by Overdrive and NetLibrary. This is what I was told when I asked the
question in their last online demonstration.
