dave,
Point taken. I'm not hysterically urdgent over it. I appreciate the service 
and the free books, as always. I'll hope for faster performrnnace in the 
future, but three hours is a lot faster than a week or two for getting a 
cassette in snail mail. So I'm cool with the whole thing. Just thought it 
might be intelligent to at least inquire about it from the right people. 
having done so, I'll just carry on and not expect anything very snazzy in 
terms of speed, and just say to myself, oh, well.

Neil does know what he is talking about -- he is basically behind the
download project.  I have come to believe that there is some sort of
intermittent bottleneck in the Washington D.C. area, so resolving it
is going to be tough.
