Joel, consider looking at the messages you've received regarding the
installation of Winamp and keep the combination that offers you the best
description. It will save you allot of writing in the future. I keep them
for various reasons and call them my mini-tutorials. A few aspects of
computing just don't seem to stick in my small brain and these help.

Hi Joel,

I know some people have already responded to your message but you
definitely don't need to uninstall an older version of Winamp before you
install the latest version. In fact it is probably better if you don't
install the older version. When you install the latest version one of
the options in the installation is to keep your previous installation
settings. If you choose that you should end up with the latest version
and it will keep your Winamp preferences the way you had them before
updating Winamp. I hope this helps.

Regards Steve.
