Hello!
I have found a really great and free program which can record anything 
you
want.
Its called all2wav and can be found at:
http://www.naturpic.com/naturpic/all2wav/
At least accessible with Hal version 10 so i guess you can use it with 
jaws
and we.
You can record from url media file, including playlists (at least when i
have tried) and from another aplication.
Just trying it out and i must say i like it.
