I would recommend staying with USB thumb drives because they are more
durable and are universally accepted into modern computers and you can find
the USB connection easier than the many different configurations of a memory
card.  Memory cards are smaller and at this time more expensive and you
really do not find many computers other than Hewlett Packard computers that
come with Card Readers installed.  You find these card readers built into
Hewlett Packard printers.
