[gui-talk] Accelerators in I.E. 8?

Hi,

In JAWS you need to press inv+v to bring up the verbosity dialog.  Press s
until you find an option that says select and the method that is currently
chosen.  Change this to on screen highlight.

To use the accelerator, you select the text, press the application/right
click key or shift+f10 and choose the acelerator you want.  The result will
open in a new tab.

Hi Kelly, thanks.  I'm not set for on screen highlighting.  Just where do
you find that option?  Also, Once you've set for on screen highlighting can
you just right click the word and it will read what it's supposed to
depending on the accelerator?  I'm particularly interested in the dictionary
and/or encyclopedia.  Thanks again

What screen reader are you using?  I've seen these work today for sure with
JAWS if you have their select text option set to onscreen highlighting.
