Hi -- I use ebackup to backup outlook express identities. It stores not only
the address book and messages, but also the account settings and options for
the specified identities. This makes it easy to backup an entire mail
database on one computer and restore it on another computer without going
through all the hassle of setting everything up.
I just went to jawslite.com which is where I got it, but that site has
morphed into something I don't recognize -- so I went to www.ebackup.com and
there are a lot of links and downloads there.
Good luck.

Unfortunately it is no longer supported, but if you want to use it you can
probably grab it from jawslint.com

Subject: [gui-talk] Backup Question
Hi Everyone,
I unfortunately have to do a system wipe and re-install windows. I know how
to back up my addressbook in Microsoft outlook express but don't know how to
backup my various e-mail accounts. I know I can manually configure them but
I'm sure there is an easier les time intensive way. Any information would
be appreciated. Happy new year to all.
